For the second year in a row, we are proud to announce that the Casey’s Pond community has been awarded the World’s Best Culture Certification from Drive. This recognition has team members and residents beaming with pride for fostering an outstanding workplace culture.
Drive’s World’s Best Culture Certification recognizes senior living organizations for their exceptional workplace culture through the Culture Values Assessment by Barrett Values Centre. This comprehensive tool has evaluated thousands of companies worldwide, including renowned organizations such as Mastercard, Coca-Cola, Prudential, and Volvo. With over four million culture assessments and 25 years of data, the Barrett Values Centre provides a rigorous benchmark for measuring organizational culture.
“We are very proud of our staff and residents for upholding an exceptional culture for yet another year!”, says Jeanine Woosley, Executive Director at Casey’s Pond. “The results revealed that our top three current culture values were caring, encouragement, and compassion. This says to me that our community is a supportive, collaborative environment that truly cares about the well-being of each individual. I am excited to celebrate this achievement, as well as use this feedback to continue to grow and improve as a community and to ensure that each resident and team member continues to feel respected, supported, and cared for.”
In the Culture Values Assessment, team members share their personal values, the current values of our community, and the desired values of their ideal workplace. Once feedback is received, it is used to calculate a culture score, reflecting the strength and health of an organization based on the alignment of these values. For Casey’s Pond, these results serve as a foundation for fostering growth, unity, and overall well-being through reinforcing what works and addressing any dysfunctions within the workplace.
In order to receive a World’s Best Culture certification, an organization must achieve a minimum of 70 on the Culture Values Assessment. For reference, the Global average is 55, the Healthcare average is 50, and Drive’s senior living communities average is 64. Last year, Casey’s Pond surpassed this benchmark with a score of 71. This year, Casey’s Pond received a culture score of 73. This increase in score not only affirms Casey’s Pond’s outstanding workplace culture within the senior living field but sets us apart from companies across various sectors worldwide. This recognition illuminates Casey’s Pond’s commitment to cultivating a great work environment, reflecting our dedication to excellence and employee satisfaction.
“Applying globally recognized culture measurements to aging services means those organizations earning this high distinction have the caring heart of a senior living provider AND the culture of a world-class business leader,” said Denise Boudreau, Drive Founder & President.
The World’s Best Culture Certification is an important achievement for our team at Casey’s Pond. This recognition has instilled a profound sense of pride among residents and team members and has motivated each of us to continually contribute to our vibrant community culture. We are excited for the opportunities that this certification will bring in attracting new neighbors and job seekers who share our values, further strengthening our community and services. In the face of housing and workforce challenges both nationally and within the senior living field, this certification demonstrates that Casey’s Pond is an outstanding place to live and work!
In addition to Casey’s Pond’s World Best Culture Certification, five sister communities and our management organization, Christian Living Communities – Cappella Living Solutions (CLC-Cappella), also received this designation.
