In our skilled nursing neighborhood, even though physicians are not employees, we do have a dedicated medical director that oversees the healthcare of residents within their neighborhood.
How does long-term care insurance work?
Long-term care insurance policies are all very different. Typically, insurance will pay when someone needs assisted living and skilled nursing. Residents will pay Casey’s Pond for their monthly services and the insurance companies will reimburse them.
