Kicking off a fundraising effort for the very first time is essentially a question – are there people who support our mission? Will they care about our goal? Are they willing to give and help us meet it? On our very first Colorado Gives Day we received a wonderful answer – yes! 16 generous supporters of Casey’s Pond stepped up and gave nearly $2500 to our Resident Technology Fund, getting us a quarter of the way to our goal of being able to purchase an iN2L engagement system for our residents.
We know that our residents are going to love this technology when it’s in their hands and are going to derive a lot of meaningful connection, entertainment, and learning from using it. Will you help us get the rest of the way to our $10,000 goal so we can make this a reality for the residents of Steamboat’s only life-plan community for older adults?
There is still time to support older adults at Casey’s Pond and meet your year-end charitable giving goals, simply visit our giving page for Colorado Gives Day at www.coloradogives.org/organization/CaseysPondSeniorLiving. Because Casey’s Pond is a not-for-profit community all gifts made to us are also tax-deductible, in addition to enriching the lives of older adults in the Yampa Valley. Win-Win!
If you were one of the amazing supporters who already gave and want other ways to help, would you please consider sharing our fundraiser with family and friends? Let them know why you support Casey’s Pond and ask if they will, too. Thank you for your generous support for our community!
