The calendar says summer, but the start of school is just around the corner. That means school supplies shopping for many of Casey’s Pond’s team members. You can make a difference for teachers in your community by giving them the educational tools they need to succeed in their classrooms. This is an easy, impactful way to show your appreciation for teachers in the greater Steamboat area and help alleviate the stress of preparing for the school year.
From July 19th through August 20th, Casey’s Pond will be collecting backpacks, pencils, folders, notebooks, and such, to be distributed to teachers who need it most within the greater Steamboat Springs area!
This is a great way to come together and show we care as supplies are costly – upwards of $65 for an elementary-school-aged student and more for middle school and high-school students whose supply lists often include expensive calculators and reference books.
Interested in helping out? Visit Casey’s Pond to drop off your donations. There will be a box located in the lobby where you can drop off your school supply donations. You can also make a cash donation by going online and selecting the General Mission Fund or specific community you’d like to support. Please put School Supply Drive in the comments section. All cash donations are needed by Aug. 7 in order to provide enough time to shop and stuff backpacks. Thank you so much for your caring support to our team members. We appreciate you all so much.
